Blood Donation & Health Check-up Camp

Organised by: Canara Orthopaedic Society in association with Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA) & Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) as part of the IOA CSRC Activity

The Canara Orthopaedic Society, in association with the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association (KOA) and the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), successfully organized a Blood Donation & Health Check-up Camp as part of the IOA Community Service & Rural Care (CSRC) initiative.

The camp was conducted for orthopaedic surgeons, postgraduate trainees, family members, and associates, with the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation and preventive healthcare. Comprehensive health check-ups were also carried out, encouraging regular health screening and overall well-being among healthcare professionals.

The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the orthopaedic fraternity and reflected the commitment of COS, KOA, and IOA towards community service, social responsibility, and the promotion of a healthier society. The event was well appreciated and successfully fulfilled its objective of serving both the medical community and society.
