Bone & Joint Day 2026 – Press Meet & Deformity Screening

Organised by: Mysore Orthopaedic Association in association with Lions Club of Mysore West

As part of Bone & Joint Day 2026, Dr. Ajay Hegde, President of the Mysore Orthopaedic Association, and senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Gopinath participated in an awareness programme in association with the Lions Club of Mysore West.

A press note was released on the occasion to create public awareness about bone and joint health. The programme also included the clinical examination of children with deformities, with several children being evaluated by the orthopaedic specialists.

The initiative highlighted the importance of public awareness and early identification of musculoskeletal deformities as part of the Bone & Joint Day observance.
