Bone & Joint Week 2026 – School Awareness & Deformity Screening Programme

Organised by: Raichur Orthopaedic Society under the aegis of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA)

As part of Bone & Joint Week 2026, the Raichur Orthopaedic Society conducted an awareness and screening programme at Vignan Techno School, Raichur.

The programme focused on creating awareness among students regarding bone health, good posture, and road safety. Students were also screened for deformities including bow legs, knock knees, and scoliosis.

Around 150 students participated in the programme. The activity was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Anirudh Kulkarni, President, and Dr. Shreeharsha Pati, Secretary, Raichur Orthopaedic Society, under the aegis of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and Raichur Orthopaedic Society.

The organizers also expressed special thanks to Dr. Varun, Academic Chairman, Vignan Techno School, Raichur, for his cooperation and support in conducting the programme.
