Grow Straight India – School Awareness Programme

As part of Bone & Joint Week 2026, the Hubli Dharwad Orthopaedic Society conducted a Grow Straight India school awareness programme at KE Board’s School, Dharwad on 3rd August 2026.

Dr. Sapan D. S. spoke about Bone & Joint Week and introduced the theme for the day, "Grow Straight India." Dr. Vishwanath Patil addressed the students on the importance of correct posture, regular exercise, and a healthy diet, while Dr. Rohan (Physiotherapist) demonstrated basic exercises for the students.

As part of the programme, the students were screened for spinal and limb deformities. The programme was attended by Dr. Sapan D. S., Dr. Vishwanath Patil, Dr. Prathamesh Hanchanal, and Dr. Vikas, and was well received by the students and school authorities.
