Theme: Safe Steps India – Prevent Falls, Preserve Independence

As part of IOA Bone & Joint Week 2026, the Department of Orthopaedics at AJIMS & HRC conducted an awareness programme on "Safe Steps India – Prevent Falls, Preserve Independence," focusing on fall prevention among the elderly population.

Dr. Shrihari Rao facilitated an interactive session with the "VRIDDHI" senior citizens community. The session covered osteoporosis, fall prevention strategies, and practical safety measures to reduce the risk of falls.

As part of the Bone & Joint Week activities, complimentary Bone Mineral Density (BMD) screenings and outpatient consultations were also provided.
